Terms of Service
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Park Hub (also operating as My National Parks Adventure). By creating an account, making a purchase, or using the site or app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service — no hard feelings.
2. What Park Hub is
Park Hub provides park guides, an interactive passport and journal, a reading list, and an AI-assisted trip planner for the 63 U.S. national parks, plus related digital products (trip plans, bundles, and passes) and physical products (posters, passport books, and other keepsakes) fulfilled by our print partner.
3. Your account
- You must provide a real email address and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
- Accounts are for individuals. One person, one passport.
- You must be at least 13 to create an account (and at least 18, or have a parent's permission, to make purchases).
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (see Section 8).
4. Purchases, passes, and refunds
One-time purchases (single-park plans and bundles) grant you personal, non-transferable access to the purchased itinerary and materials for your own trip planning.
The Annual Pass renews yearly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the paid year. Founding Pass holders keep their locked renewal price for as long as their pass remains continuously active.
Refunds — the honest version. Park Hub is run by a very small team, and every plan is generated on demand at real cost. So we'll give it to you straight: digital purchases are final. The one exception is technical failure — if you paid and your plan didn't generate or couldn't be delivered, contact us and we will fix it or regenerate it at no charge. Beyond that, we don't do refund theater. What we do instead: if a plan fell short of what you expected, tell us exactly how at hello@mynationalparksadventure.com. We read every message, we build from that feedback, and when we've rebuilt the thing to the standard you described, we'll email you — you'll know your complaint became a feature. Physical products (posters, books) are different: damaged or defective items are replaced — contact us with a photo and we'll sort it with our print partner.
Prices may change, but changes never apply retroactively to something you already bought, and Founding Pass price locks are honored as promised.
5. Your content
You own your journal. Everything you write and every photo you upload remains yours. By storing it with us, you give us only the technical license needed to host, back up, and display it to you (and to others, only where you use a share feature).
Submitted stories. If you submit a story for publication on a park page (the National Parks Journal), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish, excerpt, and promote that story on Park Hub with your byline. You can request removal of a published story at any time and we'll take it down within a reasonable period. You confirm that anything you submit is your own work and true to your experience.
6. Our content
The park guides, itinerary formats, designs, illustrations, poster artwork, and the Park Hub and My National Parks Adventure names are our intellectual property, protected by copyright. Factual park data sourced from the National Park Service is public information; our presentation, curation, and writing are not. You may print and use your purchased itineraries for personal trips. You may not republish, scrape, resell, or use our content to build a competing product.
7. Trip information, AI, and the outdoors
AI-generated plans. Our trip planner uses AI to assemble itineraries. We layer in live, factual data (hours, alerts, weather) from official sources at generation time, but any plan can contain errors or go stale the moment conditions change. Plans are a starting point for your judgment, not a substitute for it.
No warranty. The service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep information accurate and the service running, but we can't guarantee either at all times.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Park Hub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including decisions made on the trail. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Acceptable use
Don't: break the law, upload content you don't have rights to, harass others, submit fabricated stories as true, attempt to bypass purchase or rate limits, scrape the site, or interfere with the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that do.
9. Third-party services
Payments are processed by Stripe, printing and shipping by Gelato, maps by Mapbox, and AI generation by Anthropic — each under their own terms. Links to lodging, gear, or other partners may be affiliate links; if we'd earn a commission, it never changes the price you pay.
10. Ending things
You can delete your account anytime (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be dated at the top of this page and, when significant, emailed to account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
